It’s no secret that since opening in 2008, the Abbotsford Regional Hospital’s emergency wing at has been operating at capacity and continually congested.  With a growing community, Fraser Health and the BC provincial government have agreed to refresh and expand the current building to reduce wait times and improve quality of care.

The emergency department project includes new trauma bays,12 new state-of-the-art patient exam rooms, modern nurses stations, and triage areas specifically designed with patient-centred care in mind. Plan Group will lead the electrical and communications installations on this project, which will greatly improve patient, family and staff experiences while at the hospital.
