Toronto Transit Commission – Fare Management Systems
Plan Group implemented a multifaceted approach to deliver new transportation fare management systems across all TTC subway stations, supporting the modernization of Toronto’s transit network.
Our team installed over 1,300 fare gates and completed all related civil work required for full system integration and functionality. Responsibilities included system design, project management, and station surveys, as well as construction, installation, work package preparation, and site management—all executed with a strong focus on health and safety.
Plan Group’s commitment extended beyond installation through the comprehensive maintenance of the fare management system, providing first-line maintenance services for over 2,000 buses and 250 streetcars across nine garages and three carhouses.
