This multifaceted initiative centered on upgrading and enhancing mechanical and electrical systems serving the Trading Floor and Data Center at 200 Bay St. in Toronto.
SERVICES
Plan Group successfully replaced 4 Compartment Units that served the trading floor, upgraded 6 AHUs that served the same area, and replaced 10 CRAH units in the data center while adding 1 new CRAH unit. By networking all these new CRAHs together, we achieved the most efficient operation possible. Additionally, we added a hot Aisle and Cold Aisle configuration to the data center and converted the ceiling space to a return air plenum. We are proud to report that the AHUs are now running with VFDs and 2-way control valves.
Furthermore, our team upgraded the Chilled Water and Cooling Tower Pumps, adding VFDs running on variable flow. A new Cooling Tower was constructed in place of the old one, and we replaced 2 Generator Radiators while adding 3 Backup exhaust fans for critical spaces. Lastly, we upgraded the BAS controls and graphics to give the client greater control and visibility of the space.
