The Parliament Welcome Centre is a major component of the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project and will create a secure, modern gateway to Canada’s Parliamentary Precinct.

The underground complex will connect the East, Centre and West Blocks and include visitor, exhibition, theatre and hospitality spaces while preserving the heritage character of Parliament Hill. Plan Group’s role is to provide prime design-assist electrical services, including BIM coordination, constructability input, electrical systems design support, prefabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning. The work must integrate modern, sustainable building systems within a constrained, highly secure and heritage-sensitive environment, while coordinating closely with the construction-management team and project stakeholders.
