CNL Advanced Nuclear Materials Research Centre (ANMRC)
Plan Group played a significant role in the construction of the new Advanced Nuclear Material Research Centre (ANMRC) at the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) site in Chalk River, ON.
The ANMRC project was part of CNL's Chalk River Laboratories revitalization, and it was completed within four years under the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model. The ANMRC is a technically complex research facility with 12,000 square meters of space. It has 11 new nuclear hot cells, 24 radioisotope laboratories, and office space that can accommodate up to 176 staff. During the validation phase of the project, Plan Group was deeply involved in tasks related to Building Information Management, Radioactive Hot Cells, Laboratories, and the Electrical Team.
