Bruce Power – Specialized Projects
As one of Canada’s leading energy producers, Bruce Power continues to rely on Plan Group’s expertise to deliver complex projects that support safety, innovation, and operational excellence.
Plan Group has been a long-standing partner to Bruce Power, delivering a range of specialized projects that showcase expertise in mechanical, electrical, and ICAT systems. One major initiative included the Contaminated Tool Storage Facility—a single-level, 125,000 sq. ft. building featuring office space, tool cleaning areas, and secure storage for contaminated tools. Located within the Bruce Power plant in Kincardine, Ontario, the facility supports ongoing plant operations and maintenance activities.
Additional key projects include the CTS Construction Execution Plan for the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program, both emphasizing fast-track delivery, prefabrication, and safety, with zero lost-time injuries reported.
Our team has also supported ongoing operational needs through Steam Generator and Feeder Inspections, Fiber Splicing and ICAT Work Orders, and Guardhouse and Security Infrastructure upgrades—reinforcing site safety, reliability, and communications. Plan Group’s energy division contributed to the Efficient Lighting Innovation initiative, providing turnkey lighting solutions in collaboration with trusted vendor partners.
