The Adult Corrections Facility Replacement project in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, will replace the historic Her Majesty’s Penitentiary with a modern, two-storey, 395-bed correctional facility.

The project is being delivered through a Public-Private Partnership using a Design, Build, Finance, Maintain model. Our scope includes supporting the design and construction of approximately 295,220 square feet of secure correctional infrastructure, followed by long-term maintenance and facility services. The new facility will provide dedicated accommodations and services for female residents, a specialized Health Services Unit, expanded programming and recreation areas, and modern staff training facilities, supporting safety, security, rehabilitation, operational efficiency, and sustainability. Plan Group's role is deliver all electrical, mechanical,and technology scope in partnership with a local contractor partner.
