100 Queens Quay East – LCBO Head Office
Plan Group began work at 100 Queens Quay East in 2018, delivering the full mechanical, electrical, and technology base building systems for the new waterfront office tower. In 2021, our team was selected to complete the LCBO head office fit-out, further expanding our role in this landmark development.
As the mechanical, electrical, and technology subcontractor, Plan Group played a key role in helping the building achieve LEED® Platinum certification by installing high-efficiency lighting and HVAC systems designed to improve energy performance, reduce emissions, and enhance occupant well-being.
Our team led full 3D BIM coordination to LOD 350/400, earning two CanBIM Innovation Awards in 2019 for Best in Innovation and The Digital Supply Chain & Fabrication Award. Through modular prefabrication and pre-commissioning, we reduced material handling, minimized waste, and accelerated construction. The project also featured an underfloor ventilation system that improves air quality and reduces energy consumption by up to 30%.
SERVICES
Beyond the LCBO headquarters, Plan Group delivered tenant fit-outs for Menkes Developments, Richardson Wealth, and The Toronto Region Board of Trade, contributing to the completion of 23 of the tower’s 25 floors.
