Project Win! New St. Paul’s Hospital in British Columbia
We are excited to announce Plan Group has been named both the electrical and technology contractor on the new St. Paul’s Hospital Project.Located within walking distance from Vancouver’s downtown core, the state-of-the-art facility will provide a long list of general and specialized care services. It will also be home to several leading provincial healthcare programs and referral centres. The new facility will honour the legacy of the 125-year-old St. Paul’s Hospital, by providing the people of Vancouver with improved access to life-saving healthcare, while training hundreds of medical students from across the province.
Plan Group is responsible for design assistance, procurement, construction and commissioning for all of the electrical and technology systems. These critical scopes will empower the hospital to achieve its goals of reducing wait times, providing high quality care and health outcomes, as well as ensuring a better experience for patients. Nearly double the size of the existing St. Paul’s Hospital, construction is scheduled to start this summer.
